Video Action Replay took centre stage once again in the 2018 World Cup as Sweden took all three points with the help of a retrospective penalty decision.

33-year-old defender Andreas Granqvist was the man with the weight on his shoulders when he stepped up from 12 yards, but he lashed home without a shadow of doubt in his own abilities to give the Swedes the lead in the 65th minute.

It was pretty much plain sailing for Sweden from there, in a bitty game which saw only three yellows from over 40 fouls. The result gives Sweden their first opening game victory in the group stages since 1958.
